Rushnyk of Unity — Rushnyk of Victory exhibition, Killarney
24 July 2026 showing at St Mary's Church; the paper puts the cloth at 166 m with an Irish panel combining guelder rose and clover.
What the sources say
The Rushnyk is a traditional embroidered cloth stitched by Ukrainian diaspora communities worldwide. Future of Ukrainian Nation (FOUN Kerry) organized an exhibition of the project in Killarney, Ireland. The cloth was displayed along the fence of St Mary's Church on July 24, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm.
The project reached 166 metres in length the week prior in Dublin after the Ukrainian-Irish community added three new panels. The stitches feature the traditional Ukrainian guelder rose alongside the Irish clover. The Irish and Ukrainian flags are stitched side-by-side. The cloth has travelled through Estonia, Austria, Scotland, England, and Ireland.
