The route
Thirteen years, two continents and one cloth that grows at every stop. On the map: the road stitched behind it and the cities the tour plan names next.
The road, on the map
The stitched line is where the rushnyk has already been carried. The basted line is the plan for the Americas: every city on it is open, and the community that gets ready first takes the next stop.
Further south in the plan: Colombia · Brazil
The plan names cities; whoever is ready first goes first.
Through whose hands
The cloth goes to a holder for a window of time, and inside that window the holder decides who takes it next. Every hand-over leaves a line here, so a community that wants the cloth knows exactly whom to write to.

The same road, on the years
Every stop is a panel. Left of today it is embroidered; right of it the panels are still empty.
Cities from the tour plan. The first community ready takes the next panel.
Stops in the Americas
A community appears here once the project's coordinators and UAFest have both confirmed it. An invitation on its own does not put a city on this list.
Every event with its date, and registration →A week at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Cawthra Road: the Barvinok dance school on the 21st and 22nd, the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Canada stitching another rushnyk into the cloth on the 23rd, and St. Sophia School at the blessing of Ternopil Park on the 25th.
The rushnyk walked in the parade of the Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival on Saturday, September 19, with 30 metres of the column set aside for it. Carriers gathered at 10:00 at the Lesya Ukrainka Monument in High Park.
The North American premiere: the rushnyk's first stop outside Europe. It was carried from the Roy Brown Statue into Riverside Park and shown at UAFest.
Send an invitation and it goes to the festival team the same day. We answer with what hosting actually involves before anyone commits to anything.
