What the sources say
On June 7, 2025, the Volyn and Volodymyr branches of the Union of Ukrainian Women and the Union of Mothers and Wives of Defenders of Ukraine presented the Rushnyk of Memory at the KMC in Volodymyr. Women created this embroidered cloth to record the names of fallen soldiers.
The Volodymyr rushnyk consists of three sections. Two parts contain the embroidered names of the fallen, and the third displays poetry by Kobzar. At the presentation, the city mayor recognized organizers Vira Chaikovska-Tarlykova, Iryna Smirnova, Nataliya Liashchuk, and Valentyna Zalunina.
Representatives from the Kovel region also presented a Rushnyk of Memory at the event. The Kovel cloth measures 1.05 by 70 meters and consists of a single piece of fabric. Families of fallen soldiers personally embroidered the names on this cloth. During the gathering, organizers also delivered a drone to the 100th Brigade.
