Behind the Scenes: Our Volunteer Crew Leaders

The festival took place on September 13, 2026. This story was written before it.UAFest 2027: join the waiting list →

UAFest doesn't have an events-management company behind it. It has volunteers — people who show up early, stay late, and quietly make sure a day full of food, music and thousands of guests actually comes together.

From setup and teardown to greeting guests at the gate to keeping each zone running smoothly, volunteer crews are the backbone of the whole day. It's the same spirit the festival started with in 2023: neighbours helping neighbours, just at a bigger scale now.

If you've ever wanted to be part of UAFest from the inside rather than just as a guest, this is the way in. The UAFest 2027 waiting list is open to volunteers — no experience required, just a willingness to help make the day work.
